A stunning small growing Aloe with the most
beautiful spikes of bright red flowers in late winter. This Aloe
flowers at a young age and multiplies to form an attractive clump.
Totally drought proof this plant makes a stunning display when planted
'en masse' or in drifts.
The 'Spider Aloe' looks dangerous
but like many Aloes it is soft to the touch. This plant like it's more
well known cousin Aloe vera, also has medicinal properties. Aloes are
succulent plants, also known as fat-plants.
It is not
difficult to grow them as a house plant or as a pot plant in the
garden or greenhouse. Poisonous if eaten
